During August 2020, Jane Frederick embarks upon a residency at Hamilton MAS, the micro art space by the sea in Felixstowe.

Initially working in the magnificent Heritage Seafront Gardens, she will be drawing and filming to create a new art installation in the gallery space. Examining how the different features within the garden’s structure find their inspiration in sixteenth century Italian garden design as well as researching into our fascination with formal gardens , she will be asking ‘what are gardens for and how will they look in the future?’
